Earlier than planned mid afternoon visit as the nearby Rose is closed on Mondays, friendly and welcoming and spotlessly clean, a credit to the licencees.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale)4.20GoodIn good condition but less bodied and weaker than I remember it used to be.

Late Saturday lunch - very cosy with plenty of customers - log fire and horse racing on the TV. Sheps pub so just the half - but a good feel to this pub.

I was welcomed in a friendly fashion. The main bar area is set-out for drinkers in an old country pub style. Much of the rest of the pub look ready for dinners. Nice pub.

Friday Lunch time and it was hot out in the garden so we sat inside the pub in the lower level. The pub has a good feel to it with solid pine furniture and it was nice and cool.
