We arrived soon after opening time and were the first ones in. A really nice pub, I like it.

Evening. A dog to find in the upper suburban part of Rochester. Its external signage is real history. A suburban local.

The landlord of The Good Intent told us that this pub is worth the trip so we took his advice. He was right, this is a really friendly pub and you can tell the new owners have put a lot of work in. I liked it a lot.

Off Maidstone Road in Baker Street a pub on a slope away from the town centre. Friendly community local with well preserved historic tiled exterior. The fascia tiling says Woodhams & Co Ltd Sparkling Ales. Now a single bar pub with 3 handpumps on the bar counter.
