26 Mar 2013 (Mick)
Empty when I walked in, not much of a choice of beers due to a "busy weekend". Think it could be really good with a few people in.
| Otley - O3 Boss | 4.40 | | Amber ale, malty and smooth, average. |
| Marston's - Wychwood Hobgoblin IPA (was Ruby Beer, was Hobgoblin) | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
25 Jan 2013 (Martin the Mildman)
Busy with visitors from the National Winter Ales festival and regulars.
| Bays - 2013 | 3.90 | | Amber bitter with a full flavoured mix of citrussy hops and sweetish malt. Very pleasant refreshing and drinkable beer. My score 16/20. |

22:30 visit. My last night in the City and a fine place to end my trip. I met up here with well known friend of all Scoopers, Hutch', for the umpteenth time this week? We enjoyed the ale until well after the bewitching hour. A top week of imbibing, bashing new JD's and general discovery. I must return soon.....
| Nightjar (formerly Slightly Foxed) - Howlin' Fox | 3.50 | | Very nice too. A "cuckoo" brewery and another winner! A pint of this one, that good. |
| Salopian - Blackwater Loan Shark | 4.00 | | Very good. A second sample this week. |
| Bollington - Bollington Best | 4.20 | | A decent ale, and a second winner here tonite. |
| Nethergate (was Nethergate Growler for a while then name reverted) - IPA | 3.60 | Not Tried | |
| Green Duck - What's A Duck Do! | 4.20 | Not Tried | |
10 Sep 2012 (Alenomore)
22:30 visit. Last knockings on what is probably the quietest night in the City. Very productive day though, with many new ales ticked.
| Black Iris - Krasny | 5.30 | | Incredible. Fourth winner here tonite. This is just like the good old days! Amazing place. |
| Moles - Elmo's Fire | 4.40 | | No.3 winner tonite. A1 again. |
| Green Duck - What's A Duck Do! | 4.20 | | Re-sampled this [winner]from Saturdays visit. Still in good nick too. Great finish to today, straight to the Smithfield,(closed early tonite). Head down time! |
| AllGates - Calypso | 4.10 | | Second winner here tonite. A1? |
| Phoenix - Hopsack | 3.80 | | And yet another winner? Top class too. |
