Very friendly staff, I've been here many a time when visiting Hebden Bridge. The beer is always in good nick, and the food is good value and good quality - from sandwhiches to main courses. Very much a typical friendly, North Yorkshire pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30ExcellentThe Yorkshire classic - light copper in colour, with a fruity aroma and body and a high bitterness coming in late. Incredibly refreshing.
Shepherd Neame - Spitfire (or Spitfire Amber Ale)4.20GoodThe SN classic - copper in colour, with a nice matly body and that trademark SN floral hop aroma. Served in excellent condition.
Copper Dragon - Scotts 18164.10GoodTawny-coloured and easy drinking bitter, slightly softer in bitterness than CD's usual range.
