… not a planned visit but nature called on my way back to my hotel. Oddly the picture I took inside had a large sign above the bar “The Grapes” and at the side a chalk board with ales listed under the heading of “The Dispensary Cask”. Confused me, time for bed.

Nice pub welcoming, a bit well worn, a proper locals pub, quiet late afternoon.

I've only been here once before many years ago. I came as the Liverpool Organic Brewery told me that their beers are always available here, and so it was. Good little pub if the decor is a little strange.

| Liverpool Organic - 24 Carat | 4.10 | | Pale gold, thin lasting white head. Slightly peachy hop aroma. Excellent in mouth. Hops on finish are brilliant. Shows golden ales don't have to be dull. Fullness of flavour and mouthfeel. Very good white stone fruit flavour throughout. |

The pub is found in Liverpool, Merseyside, L1 9DW.
Corner pub in Roscoe Street, with a central bar serving U-shaped room. Oddly Cuban/Caribbean orange decor. Friendly though and has good community feel. Reopened in October 2016 after major refurbishment. 9 handpumps. Known as the Little Grapes locally.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 10 different beers and tried 3 of them.
