Unplanned visit here after disappointment at a pub nearby. Busy in the front bar, empty in the large rear room and garden.

Situated where Grove Road becomes Lauriston Road, we popped in here to ask directions to The Palm Tree which has its address in Grove Road, but which we were unable to find. This was a most welcoming pub with Castle Rock Preservation in superb condition.
