A large group of us chartered a boat from Great Yarmouth and enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon enjoying the ales and hospitality from the owners. We returned by train from the nearby railway station.

The pub is found in Berney Arms, Norfolk, NR30 1SB.

This must be one of the most isolated pubs in the country. The only way to get there is by boat, or walk, preferably from Berney Arms railway station, which also has no road access. The pub opens from Easter to October only so it is best to check opening times before travelling.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 3 of them.
