Second pub of the day, we ordered our beer in the main bar area but moved to one of the smaller bars (Lizzies Bar) to find seating. Lots of diners here today. The beers on offer were those already listed by Jason. The Home Ales brand is currently being brewed at Oldershaws Brewery.

Very popular on a Saturday afternoon with not a seat to be had in the house.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Greene King - XX Dark Mild3.00ExcellentArguably GK's best beer, a dark ruby/brown mild with toffee and chocolate malt flavours and very low hop rate. My score 16/20.

My first visit to Nottingham since Greene King took over and closed Hardy and Hanson's Kimberley Brewery. This pub is close to the hotel I was using for the night so I popped in to admire the splendid old building.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Nottingham - Rock Bitter3.80GoodA pale ale served through a tight sparkler. I should have asked for a top up, but I decided to drink my beer and head for the tram stop.
