Very quiet late afternoon just a couple of others in. My first, and last, visit to this pub, pity as the jovial friendly barmaid was great fun and kept all topped up. The free pool table was the main attraction as it certainly wasn't the beer with one cask ale on which I didn't bother with and opted for the 'on offer' JC's Hawkstone lager @ £2 a bottle.

Evening. Could see handpumps so went in but they had no clips. Barman said no real ale but they did sell bottled beers. Obviously left.

I was attracted by the fact that this pub was advertising pie and mash. It was a bright sunny day, and the front door was open, I could see a pump with a Harvey's Olympia clip on it, so I entered. The landlady was most welcoming, and informed that she had recently purchased the pub, and always has at least one Harvey's beer on.
