First port of call on my annual May mild survey of Bristol. Fairly quiet one to start with.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Naylor's - Velvet Premium Mild4.00AcceptableRather bitter with a nutty crystal malt taste. Dry bitter finish not true to style. My score 14/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Box Steam - Tender Mild3.60AcceptableDark ruby mild with quite a bitter malt flavour probably from excess of crystal malt. The finish is very dry and quite bitter. My score 14/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Cotleigh - Nutcracker3.40GoodSpoilt by being served too cold. Dark brown mild. A faint nuttiness in the background otherwise barely discernable malt and hop flavours until it had warmed up at the end. My score 15/20 (B quality).
