14:30 visit for "two meals for £10". The lack of ales was disappointing but the food and service was pretty good. (Fish & Chips was average but my Gammon Steak & Chips was very good).

1800 visit. Came here with a driving pal. We spent some money in Notcutts and somewhere else too, and came in here to try the "2 meals for £10". It was ok. Very good in fact. Ales on now are just the reliable Bombardier, two pumps, which was in good nick here tonite.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat with my wife at noon and the restaurant was already fairly full and even more so by the time we left. Friendly staff and a pleasant meal.
