So good I came back 6 hours later. The pub was busy with a roaring fire in the Tap Room. Same beer line up as lunchtime.

Top pub. A local at the bar suggested the Nut Brown when the mild became unavailable. Excellent recommendation. At 10 past midday there were a good number in which is good to see.

Came here late on a Friday night and it was very busy in the 2 main bars. We sat in the side room and ordered our beers through the hatch. Good quality pub this with plenty of character.
