Popped in for a chat with a mate on my way back from work. Practically empty, 1800-1900.

Relatively quiet considering it's position in the town centre and the fact that it was a Saturday night. Just time for a quick pint before getting my bus home.

The pub is found in Bury, Greater Manchester, BL9 0LA.

The oldest pub in Bury. The front half has quite a bit of character still, but the large room at the back is a soulless, relatively modern addition.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
