Back here again- we were selling plants at the Fair. Tent very busy, and all beers sold out mid afternoon.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Blue Top4.80ExceptionalA fine pint of this prize winning IPA. As Ed the brewer says, sometimes you want malt and hops, not uberhops. I could have drunk this all day.
Tonbridge - Ebony Moon4.20ExcellentAlmost as good as yesterday. My kind of beer-dark and luscious.

Paul's Smallhythe Tavern up and running for another year.

Royal Tunbridge Wells - Sovereign Blonde3.80ExcellentA pleasant crisp Golden. Decent hoppy session beer.

Interesting selection of Kent and Sussex beers. I haven't listed 'em all. as I was supposedly working on our stall.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Dark Star - Over The Moon3.80Exceptionala really complex tasty dark ale with a great degree of hops-is it a mild, or something on its own? Not too strong, and not as sweet as the colour might hint. Excellent
Dark Star - Old Ale (aka Old Chestnut)4.00ExcellentIt was raining, sales were slack:what better than a warming rich glass of what could become my favourite old ale. Roll on winter!
Dark Star - Summer Meltdown4.80ExcellentI love ginger in curries, perhaps not in beer. Good beer, but not really to my taste, but it did have the benefit of clearing the pallet!
Royal Tunbridge Wells - Royal Best Bitter4.10ExcellentAnother new one for me: I'd heard mixed views on this, but found it a perfectly acceptable Best Bitter-good dark amber colour, fruity and not too sweet. I could definately make this a regular.
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Gold Top4.30GoodMy first sight of this beer on draught. A clean tasting golden ale, with a slight "burnt" taste that I'd noticed in its bottled form
Westerham - Special Bitter Ale "1965"5.00Not Triedunfortunately this ran out before I could try it.
