Cycled to Sandwich to visit the Mermaid’s Locker - but it is closed on a Wednesday grrr. The New Inn opposite was advertising real ales at £2.75 so I was persuaded in.
Large, light and bright with the autumn sunshine pouring in. Thorley Tavern house style.
