15:00 visit. Three of Rockin Robins ales on. A shame we didn't meet the maestro himself, but we had good a session with Pedro and a couple of other branch members, plus, also in, local radio legend, Roger "Twiggy" Day watching his beloved Red Devils. This is a much underated former gbg. A good local type pub, that has stood on this junction for over 120 years.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Rockin Robin - Hoppin Robin3.70ExcellentNice condition.
Rockin Robin - Mildly Rockin3.70ExcellentTop condition and a good example of this style. Quaffed three of these.
Rockin Robin - Ding Dong6.40ExcellentThe latest ale. In top condition, on gravity. More a barley wine type with it's sweetish hue. Good hoppy taste too.
