Jane wanted to go on the fenicular railway so after that and a cup of tea, she and my daughter went to see a park, and they told me I might as well go to the pub. So here I am. The racing was on and a chap at the bar was losing his money. Impressive interior.

Holden's - Black Country Special Bitter5.10GoodI only spotted this was 5% after he started pouring it or I'd have ad the mild. That said, it's good. Pale gold, rich clean tasting with leafy bitter finish.

Fourth year running in the gbg. A cracking pub, impressive ale range with plenty of pump clips on show. Great interior. Filled beef rolls for £1.60.

The pub is found in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV16 4DS.

GBG entry 2011. Originally a 17th century coaching inn, this traditional town centre hostelry has retained separate public and lounge bars and continues to offer B&B accommodation. The history of the inn is displayed in two pleasant lounge bars. The public bar is the venue for dominoes, darts and quiz teams. A fine collection of pump clips adorn the beams throughout. Home cooked food is served at lunchtime. At the rear there is a covered smoking area, and an outdoor patio near the car park.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 8 different beers and tried 2 of them.
