A fabulous pub, full of nooks and crannies and real fires. Also very full of diners, leaving little space for the casual drinker. Britannia Brewery was established at the pub in 2012 – I didn’t find the beers to be very good, three star markings erring on the generous.
Britannia - Pale Ale4.00AcceptablePale in colour, malty and caramelly and home-brew-ish.
Britannia - Golden Ale4.20AcceptableGolden-coloured and malty but thin.
