11am. Found at the rear of Canute's, through a court yard. A top ale house, probably the best in Gainsborough. Very friendly and good service. Top ale range too.

In Ship Court, Good Beer Guide entry 2011. In the guide for over 15 years, this real ale haven based in a Grade II listed former carpenter's yard continues to offer 8 real ales. Many are sourced from northern micros, and Glentworth, Castle Rock and Rudgate breweries regularly feature. Leffe Blonde, real cider on draught and a wide selection of continental bottled beers are also available. Quality live music can be heard on Thursday and Saturday nights. Sunday lunchtime conversations are lively, with customers bringing in food to share.
