Quite busy for 7pm. Pub just started doing food, so tried it, thought it was a bit too poncy (and expensive)for a town pub really, although it was very nice. Hope this doesn't change the feel of the place as one of our favourite haunts.

The pub is found in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, DE14 2LD.

Lovely pub owned by the Burton Bridge Brewery, proper pub atmosphere with pleasant staff and a cracking selection of ales. Can get football traffic on match days though (although "fans" banned after the match). Previously called Prince Alfred. Was the Truman's Brewery Tap until the brewery closed in 1971.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 7 different beers and tried 2 of them.
