Modern dockside Fullers pub, the lovely landlady was friendly and chatty and and made us feel very welcome, she was also knowledgeable about the beers on offer. Non 3663 Foodservice Cheese and Marmite Sandwiches helped to soak up the beers.

Two of us were doing a trip on the East London Railway Line, and visiting various pubs on the way. This one appealed for two reasons, firstly their web site advertises that they do cheese and marmite sandwiches,(one of my favourites), and secondly, I was intrigued by various reviews on another web site. I was very impressed with this place, it is a proper pub, the service and welcome was superb, and we (and others) were invited to sample each of the beers before purchasing them. The cheese and Marmite sandwich was delicious.

This pub is situated in the Surrey Quays district of Rotherhithe, and is close to Surrey Quays railway station and the shopping centre. There is an outside seating area with excellent views over Greenland Dock and the Surrey Quays Watersports Centre. A function room is available upstairs.
