Mid afternoon busy inside with most seats taken, many of us sat outside and enjoy the rural setting on a warm summer's day.

Saturday evening - a group of history re-enactors in one bar - some in costume. Eclectic decor. Strange use of the space with a single dining table in each of the other two bars areas. I quite like it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Mad Cat - Oatrageous Green Hop Oat Pale Ale3.90Good(Probably not the green hop variety of Outageous) - lively hoppy brew.
Mad Cat - Platinum Blonde (previously Meaney's Platinum Blonde Ale)4.20AcceptableRather flat.

My first visit to this pub since it re-opened, it used to be food orientated but is now very much a pub with food. I enjoyed playing the vintage pin ball machine which operates on 1/= or the large 5p coins, it will also take florins. There is a bar billiards table and devil among the taylors for pub games enthusiasts. Very much a different type of place to what it used to be.

This was a lovely day for a tour of isolated rural pubs. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed it in here.
BeerABVScoreNotes

First time I've been here although I did once use their car park to turn round in. Nice pub. Big on French food which explained the enticing smell of muscles throughout the pub.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Woodforde's - Wherry3.80AcceptableEggy-farty aroma. Tasted a bit thin; bit like dilute orangeade.
