Busy as ever here.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Falstaff - Rod Stewart4.30AcceptableSurprisingly this was a mild and I only found out because the previous customer to me rejected it after a taster showed it was dark. On closer inspection the pumpclip did mention mild. The beer itself was black and true to Falstaff style, rather thin with a dry, powdery malt flavour and a short dry finish. My score 15/20.

Almost full to capacity although I managed to get a seat at the rear of the pub,
BeerABVScoreNotes
Derventio - Maia Mild4.00ExcellentOn form here, a classic example of an East Midlands mild, black and fruity with hints of liquorice and a big chocolate malt kick. My score 16/20.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Nottingham - Foundry Mild4.70GoodNot as good as it could be, I suspect a fairly old sample with vineous flavours taking over from the usual chocolate malt. My score 15/20.
