Sunday afternoon- sought this out as a CAMRA heritage pub. Pleasantly busy with locals - we sat in the “fireplace and porcelain” room and were treated to some homemade goodies by the landlady. Very welcoming.

Lunchtime visit to a pub with a marvellous three room interior, although I did not venture beyond the front bar. A few regulars in and I am now much better informed on the local gossip for this end of Durham.

I just sat in amazement at how wonderful the interior of this pub is. There were a couple of regulars at the pub who were attempting a crossword puzzle, and chatted to me about the village of Biddenden.
