Mid-afternoon on a rainy Sunday. Many roast dinners are being eaten and there is a stand-up comedy event in a downstairs room.

Late Sunday afternoon, and every table is taken – primarily with diners.
Itchen Valley - Dana3.80AcceptablePale and hazy. Lacks any of the aroma that was present in a pint I drank of the same last week. Hoppy, but rather tired and a bit too yeasty.

Lively with eaters and drinkers alike.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Summer Ale3.90GoodLight ale. A bit lifeless but with a honey syrupy body. Easy drink but nothing great.
Camden Town - Inner City Green3.90GoodServed in a tankard. Very pale ale with sweet malty taste. Slight hoppiness with frothy head. Not bad.
