1330. And my reason for being in North-East Essex today! I was last here 10 years ago for there first effort. They were "hammered" on the Friday night and we didn't have much beer to choose from those 30 ales on that Saturday session? Fast forward ten years and in the intervening years, this festival has gone from strength to strength with an excellent ale selection, up to 50 now, plenty of local types and some new breweries too. A good crowd in, ales in good nick and hot & cold food available. I'd recommend a visit here. Nearby, historic Harwich is well worth a wander too.
