Early evening not too busy in this vast unlikely Wetherspoons style Holt's pub. Once again guest beers available. Incorrectly located on this site in Eccles, not Monton where it actually is.

14:00 visit. Easily found, under the district of Monton, on the bus route between Worsley and Eccles, this current 2013 gbg has also been in 16 times before in; 1978/81-7/9-92/4/5/2001/12. A large, very friendly, multi room type with a good smattering of down to earth locals this visit. Nice place and Holts' Ales are spot on I think. Good value Meat & Potatoe pies too!

Large and fairly modern Holt's pub in Monton Road, it boasts a huge public bar area with two dart boards, including the rare Manchester log end board. There is a large lounge bar and another room all served from a central bar area.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 8 different beers and tried 3 of them.
