After spoons pubs won the vast number of poty awards in this area we read in the local camra mag that this pub had won. 8 ales on so we had to visit. 8 beers, mostly under 4.1% and at £5. With a camra discount. Apparently Alan Carr did a gig upstairs recently. No dark beers out of the 8 on. Not many drinking real ale.

Timothy Taylor - Landlord (please use other Landlord entry in future)4.30AcceptableThe strongest available along with gloombar. Too warm.
Birmingham - Bitter Brummie4.10PoorWarm, strange taste, almost shandy like. Not many people were drinking this today.
