Snowy and cold outside but warm inside.Very foody and in the centre of Prague. 4 beers offered but not the best of beers as all were 4% and brewed to end up at that %age. Very pricey by Czech standards.

Early Thursday evening and it was already fairly full. After being shown through the subterranean warren we ended up in a small room with 2 tables and seating for around 10 people. Service was ok and the beers were pretty good. Would probably come back to this one again
BeerABVScoreNotes
Novoměstský Pivovar - Světlé (was 3.5%)4.00GoodHazy golden colour with thin white head. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Quite a yeasty hoppy svetle which I like. Not overly carbonated, has good flavours, light and very drinkable. Hops are crisp and biting on the end. Best of the blonds I had in Prague
Novoměstský Pivovar - Tmavé (was 3.5%)4.00AcceptableRuby/chestnut with lasting thick beige head. Like a lot of these beers, lots of toffee, bit watery in mouth, a bit of hop one the end. But the toffee isn't integrated and flies around giong nowhere. Not enough malt burnt/roasted flavours nor body. Not as good as the blond

The pub is found in Prague, Czech, 110 00.

Multi roomed, multi floored brew pub just one tram stop from Wenceslas Square. Very popular with plenty of reserved tables. Fairly typical levels of Czech customer service. Beer was 30 Kroner for 500ml when I visited (about 75p) in 2006. Breweriana is evident. Lots of wood and terracotta tiles and Italianate pictures painted direct onto the walls. Food is typical Czech fare i.e. lots of meat and dumplings.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
