Late lunchtime. The R6 bus brought me here from Salisbury (The Wyndham Arms) to catch up with an 11 pub 3 Counties preserved bus trip. This was their 6th house. What a friendly couple running the pub.

Stopped off for lunch on the way back from Lyme Regis. Laverstock is just outside of Salisbury and the pub is signposted but we still managed to miss it. The interior is large with spacious seating.

Somewhat modern estate pub bought by Hop Back Brewery in 2003 and extensively refurbished. An example of how a failing pub can be turned around with the right attitude and the right management. 6 handpumps inevitably selling mainly Hop Back and Downton beers but guests do feature.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 7 different beers and tried 3 of them.
