Evening visit until 11pm close. Obviously a pub with standards and, I read, a long term licensee. Carpeted and small. Felt just like a Theatreland haunt but I am told it has a loyal band of regulars too. Great bunch of bar staff.

Pub of the day for me. Such a fantastic atmosphere. And I got me a hot salt beef sandwich which always cheers me up. Beer was unspectacular, but the feel of the place was tremendous.

The pub is found in Covent Garden, Central London, WC2E 7BD.
Sited on Wellington Street just down from Bow Street. This is a superb pub for the area. Feel of a real back street local. Irish, golf and horse racing influences apparent on the walls. Only 2 beers on, but the feel of the place is excellent. Quite a small pub and seating is at a premium.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
