Busy on a Friday night with a large party of campers,diners and drinkers.We came to meet Lucy, and discussed the afflictions of age.

Saturday lunch pre Christmas:quiet. We met an old friend to reminisce.A couple of lady brewers were doing questionable things with Fuller's London Porter.Great pub.

Early evening on a wet July Wednesday.Busy at the bar: a good local trade. We sat by the window and pondered the sexual possibilities of working at Holland and Barrett's.

Pleasant tile-hung old pub set off the lane in a quiet village. Inside, an inglenook fire, bare boards, an airy feel. The only pub I know with reproductions of paintings by Miro and Myles Burdett-Foster.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 10 different beers and tried 7 of them.
