2120 hours visit. A small crowd at the bar but more in the rear room for diners. Unfortunately with fish on the menu the pervading smell did not endear itself to dally too long even though the beer was excellent.

Located in Sheep Street opposite the Rose & Crown. The bar is immediately to the right upon entering but there are several other seating and dining areas. The bar carries 3 handpumps. The pub offers guests top quality bed and breakfast accommodation, with four individually appointed ensuite bedrooms, complemented by a range of freshly prepared dishes served in the restaurant and the bar, using locally sourced and freshly prepared produce wherever possible.
