Late evening visit. Proximity to Hammersmith tube station is this pub's only attribute. What a waste to have Ilkley Ruby Jane on 2 handpumps in the same bank of 8.

Quite busy on a Tuesday evening.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Sambrook's - Lavender Hill (originally exclusively for Nicholson's)4.50GoodAmber bitter with a citrus orange hop flavour which gives quite a bitterness to the beer. There is some malt for balance. My score 15/20.

Quiet early on a Saturday lunchtime with trade gradually building up.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Rooster's - Welsummer (exclusively for Nicholson's)4.50ExcellentPale bitter with an excellent fruity citrus hop flavour with good malt balance. Finish is fruity and hoppy. My score 16/20.
Robinsons - Globe Hopping4.40GoodVery pale bitter supposedly brewed with ingredients from every continent. However, the Robinsons house style takes over giving a yeasty, malty flavour with peppery overtones. My score 15/20.
Itchen Valley - Calypso4.10AcceptableGolden in color with a harsh bitter hop flavour with little malt balance. My score 13/20.
