The rail outside this pub proved an ideal vantage point for the Olympic Women’s Marathon and it was only polite to pop in for refreshment between laps.

A good sized Fuller’s pub in a very prominent position on Tower Hill, beside All Hallows Barking church. Established in the 1990s in a former commercial premises, it is a smart place, with clientele split between City workers and tourists. Unlike many pubs in the area, this pub is open at weekends.
