Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Gale's Seafarers Ale | 3.60 | A decent, pale session bitter. Seems increasingly to be taking on a Fullers rather than Gales taste. This example not in great condition. | |

The pub is found in City, Central London, EC4V 5BH.
One of the oldest licences in the City of London, this pub was present by 1663 and for most of its history has been called the Horn Tavern. It rates a mention in Dickens’s Pickwick Papers. Into the 1970s it still retained many Victorian features, including a wooden bar back and booths, separated by etched-glass partitions. All has since been swept away and the pub presents a modern interior, albeit still based upon the earlier floor plan. Perhaps the only surviving historic feature is the outside lantern. There are also cellar bars. For a while in the 1990s the pub was tied to the Eldridge Pope Brewery, but now supplies a variety of beers from regional brewers to a mainly tourist clientele. Renamed The Centre Page in 2002.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
