First stop on our trip along the Dalesway. Early Saturday evening and pretty full downstairs with mainly couples in their 30's.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wharfedale - Executioner4.50AcceptableServed with the ubiquitous sprinkler, which gives it a creamy full mouth feel. Ok I suppose, but what it gains it texture it loses in flavour. Fine, easy drinking but not much else.
Wharfedale - Folly Ale3.80AcceptableI found it hard to tell the difference between this and the Executioner. Served with a head at least an inch and a half thick.
