Monday evening - a few locals in, coal fire on the go - well it is only June.

Follow the street up from the river, pass the village church and the shop and after 50 yards you'll find it. This is a fantastic pub. We arrived at 11.15 and stayed until 1.30 even though we still had 6 miles to walk to Sedbergh.

| Dent - Rambrau | 4.20 | | Real lager. First time for me, not sure though. Ok, acidic smell and looked like 1648 Signature. A bit empty in the taste. |
