11:00 visit. A bus from Manchester Shude Hill to Middleton, then a quick change for another to here, via Oldham, finds me in this smart JD at the top end of the town. The house ale was n/a and the rest of the range was fair. Nice place, but nowt' else in Shaw to keep me here today.

Wetherspoon's outlet found in the suburb of Shaw, just north of Oldham, in the town centre on a main crossroads. A large corner outlet, ex retail store type, opened in December 2011. All very nice, polished and fresh.
We have visited this pub once, seen 6 different beers and tried 1 of them.
