13:15 visit. Very busy here with shoppers/diners and locals alike. Fair ale range on too. I first visited here in 2004, and remember it well. This is a current 2013 gbg and was in once before in 2011.

Large Wetherspoon's outlet in the High Street, the centre of town. Opened in March 1998 on the original site of the long demolished bar (1935) that this one takes its name from. On a corner plot, a spacious, traditional type JD.

We have visited this pub once, seen 6 different beers and tried 2 of them.
