Mid afternoon very quiet just one other customer on arrival. Friendly welcome we opted for the beer garden on a cloudy but muggy day.

Took my centenarian aunt to her favourite haunt for lunch where we were well looked after and had a tasty fish and chip meal.

Some in the bar area but few in the restaurant when we went with my very elderly aunt to sample their lunchtime menu. As usual the fare was good as was the service.

A few in the bar area when we arrived with my near centenarian aunt for a lunchtime meal. Alone in the restaurant area at the start, 2 further tables were taken before we left. Our meal was most enjoyable and the service excellent.

Quite a few in the bar area, some drinking and some eating. However we went to the restaurant area at the back with my aunt, now in her 100th year, to have a lunchtime meal. We had a very tasty 2 courses with attentive service.

We went with my very elderly aunt, on her recommendation, to this pub for a lunchtime meal and were not disappointed. Also, the service was good and the landlady very friendly. Only one of three pumps available.
