It must be a good 10 years since I have been in this pub. I cycled around Willesborough and Wye to get here from Ashford on a sweltering hot Sunday so I was ready for my pint. Only Master Brew on, but the pint was excellent. I guess if you only do 1 beer, then do it well. A fair number of locals were at the bar in the public bar.

Shepherd Neame pub on the A28 at the edge of Kennington, north of Ashford. Central bar serves 2 rooms. The public bar has a pool table, music and TV. The lounge bar had tables set for Sunday lunch. A feeling of slight shabbiness, but a nice enough local pub.
