Evening. Disconcerted, as I have never been here before, to find the barmaid say "back again eh, where else have you been today".

The pub is found in Stafford, Staffordshire, ST16 2JZ.
Town centre pub, established in 1818 – just off the market square. Once of Eley’s Brewery of Stafford, it passed to Bass via Butler’s Brewery. Re-opened by Joule’s in November 2011. Has a traditional layout of front and back bars with a central servery, with a partly covered yard to the rear. 9 handpumps.
