Interesting black wood box like structure above the bar containing yellow lighted panels. A bit like something out of Doctor Who. Funny pub with a kind of junk yard for a back room

The last of the pubs Andrew, Jane and I visited on our mini pub crawl of Sandwich. We haven't been here for years and it was still more or less how I remembered it. Dart board was in use and there was a fair smattering of locals sat around the bar.

L-Shaped pub found on a side street, New Street, off the main Sandwich square. Closed in 2008 and re-opened as St Peter's Restaurant. it further re-invented itself as The Hop and Huffkin in July 2014.
