We spent an hour or so in here early on Friday evening, at which time the pub was absolutely packed – a slightly uncomfortable experience, standing shoulder to shoulder between the tables. A wide selection of kegged and bottled beers to chose from – we stuck with the kegs.

A Brown Cafe-type place on the main square in the centre of Deventer. Relatively large by Dutch standards (although still pretty small), there is a single room with brewery sign-covered walls. A few tables outside at the front. The pub has a small range of house beers brewed by various Dutch and Belgian breweries.
