I came in here because I liked the look of it, rather than because of any recommendation. Upmarket but welcoming. Both the restaurant and bar areas were quite busy at late-lunchtime on a Sunday.

The pub is found in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, NG13 8AL.

A large pub, just off the market square and very handy for Bingham railway station. The pub’s reputation (2012) is for its food, and there is a large dining area. But the pub is also a welcoming place for drinkers, with extensive areas which are not laid for dining. There is a large, grassy garden to the rear, plus an outside patio area to the side. Traditionally named the Chesterfield Arms.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
