Soon after opening time, I was made very welcome indeed, we had a good chat about micro-pubs and the landlord telephoned the Beer Shack for me and found out that they were happy to remain open all afternoon as it was a nice day. A proper micro-pub.

An excellent micro-pub. Spent two hours here chatting to other customers and one of the landlords. Beer choice sound and quality excellent.

The pub is found in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG5 2DA.
A Micropub in Mansfield Road in the Carrington area of Nottingham. Previously the Carrington Pharmacy hence the pub's name after the building's change of use. Opened just before Christmas 2012 run by private entrepreneurs. The running was taken over by Magpie Brewery in late 2014 and it subsequently changed dispense of beer from gravity to handpumps.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 9 different beers and tried 6 of them.
