It was soon after 10am on a Saturday and there were a good few people enjoying a beer with their brunch, we found somewhere to sit in what used to be the corn room before the pub was modernized some years ago.

I first came here many years ago when it was the Snig's Foot, a very traditional Burtonwood pub with Light and Dark milds on electric pumps. It has now been gutted and is a comfortable town centre pub, and was probably the busiest pub that I visited in the town today. Bar staff were very good and engaged me in conversation.
