Busy with diners, only one free table when we got there about 14:30. Got talking to an elderly couple of which the husband was a veteran of Arnhem. A fascinating half hour ensued.

Single bar with dining room in Kirkgate Street. Still got a proper pubby feel in an area noted for its gastro pubs. Closed for refurbishment in early 2024 and subsequently re-opened.
