18:00 First in as the pub opened. Always a gamble coming here as sometimes the beers are from local micros, other times all Greene King. Today was a Greene King day. Yet another new beer with no brewery name on the pump clip. Why don't they decide to brew good beer rather than hide behind anonymity.

19:30 Fancied a drink on the way home from Diss so popped in here. Bar was busy with diners but the restaurant was empty. We sat at the clock face table. Most disconcerting, the glass cover is some distance above the table surface and it is very difficult to put your glass down without hitting the glass cover with a bang.

Recently renovated pub opposite the village green in Chapel Street. Comfortable bar, well appointed dining room. Converted to housing 2020.
